The beginning of Bluebell Confectionery can be traced back to when I was in university, I had little to almost no knowledge of baking. I had however, always been curious and eager to learn about the perfect world of baking. I always thought it would only be a hobby but my curiosity started to grow more. My life started to change as I found myself baking more often and endlessly researching about techniques, recipes and the science behind baking. In the fall of 2014 I took my very first baking course at Bonnie Gordon College of Confectionary Arts and soon realized that I needed to follow my passion. Over the next year I graduated as a cake designer at the same college and finally I decided to have a deep learning about pastry at George Brown’s Baking and Pastry Arts Management program. Over the course of those years my baking knowledge grew and so did my sense of style. I started to love creating pretty edibles for any occasion from sugar cookies to custom cakes. In the spring of 2018 I changed my lifestyle and I'm proud to offer a low carb menu that is equally pretty and delicious as our other bakes.
